Terms of service
These terms govern your use of the DeskBridge digital workspace platform. Please read them carefully before using the service.
About these terms
These Terms of Service form a legal agreement between you and DeskBridge Ltd regarding your use of the DeskBridge platform and related services.
By accessing or using DeskBridge, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
The DeskBridge service
DeskBridge provides a hosted digital workspace accessed through a dedicated client. The service includes workspace access, storage, backups and supporting infrastructure.
DeskBridge is provided as a managed environment. The internal configuration, behaviour and access boundaries of the workspace are defined deliberately to preserve stability, predictability and sovereignty.
User responsibilities
- You must use DeskBridge lawfully and responsibly
- You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials
- You must not attempt to access other users’ workspaces
- You must not interfere with the operation or security of the platform
Additional usage rules are set out in the Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Access, availability and change
DeskBridge aims to provide a stable and reliable service. However, access may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates or technical issues.
Where changes are required, DeskBridge endeavours to apply them in a controlled manner that does not undermine the core behaviour of the workspace without notice.
Data, privacy and sovereignty
Your use of the service is governed by the DeskBridge Privacy Policy, which explains how personal and workspace data are handled.
DeskBridge is designed to operate within clearly defined legal and operational boundaries. Control of the workspace, its identity and its jurisdiction is not delegated to third‑party cloud providers without explicit intent.
Further detail is provided on the Sovereignty page.
Backups and data protection
Encrypted daily backups are provided as part of the service to improve resilience against accidental data loss or system failure.
While backups form part of DeskBridge’s reliability model, users remain responsible for maintaining copies of critical data where appropriate.
Fees and billing
DeskBridge services are billed on a fixed monthly basis according to the selected pricing tier.
Pricing details are published on the Pricing page. All prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
Suspension and termination
DeskBridge reserves the right to suspend or terminate access where these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy are breached.
You may cancel your account at any time, subject to the applicable billing terms.
Limitation of liability
DeskBridge provides the service with reasonable care and skill, but does not accept liability for indirect or consequential loss to the extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these terms limits liability where such limitation is not permitted under UK law.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page.
Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
